Pay Homage
From your old address to a story on the map.
It takes a few minutes. Here’s what each step looks like.
Skip to the search ↓- 1
Find your old place
Search the address, use your location if you’re standing there, or tap the building on the map.
- 2
Say when you lived there
The year you moved in and the year you moved out. Roughly is fine. Still living there? Check the box and it says “Present.”
- 3
Rate it
Stars for what it was like to live there overall: the place, the area and the people.
- 4
Add a few details, if you want
Your unit number and what the rent was. Both optional. Skip anything you’d rather not share.
- 5
Tell your story
As much or as little as you like: the first night, the neighbors, the view, the landlord, the thing nobody would believe. Stuck? The form has questions to get you going.
- 6
Post it your way
Under your username, or anonymously. An anonymous Homage never shows your name to anyone, not even on your profile. Posting takes a free account.
- 7
Then it lives at that address
Anyone who looks up the address can read it. You get a card to share, people can upvote it, and when someone leaves a note, we’ll email you. Get there first and you earn a badge, and 231 of the first 250 spots are still open.
